Our youngest is feeling a bit under the weather today. That pile of cat puke I stepped in this morning at 6am. Her's! She also left us presents all over the bathroom, for when we got home from work. So thoughtful.

I asked her what would make her feel better, and she said being on the blog- so here you go, our little SiSi, in all her adorableness! ~Naomi

March is sort of "Hump month" for the year... have you felt your resolutions for 2011 lagging some?

I've been feeling down lately (the lack of sunshine probably hasn't helped much), but I also changed my diet & instead of losing weight, well, I gained some. Oy. This wouldn't be such a big deal... except that I have worked SO HARD the past two years to lose weight. And I have. I've lost 70lbs. It wasn't easy, but it was so worth it.

I've been meaning to share a comparison of me before & after... and I kept putting it off. "I'll do that when I hit my next weight goal." And it would come, and I would put it off again.

Well, I'm thinking that some people could use inspiration these days... and I need some inspiration myself! So here you go- The Me on the left is Naomi after about 20lb weight loss on my happy happy happy wedding day! Then, the Me on the right is Naomi on vacation in 2010 after 70lb weight loss!

Keep going- whatever it is you're doing, you can make a difference & it will be WORTH IT!!!!

You could say Lincoln is one of our long-time customers... in fact, we were taking photos of him before he was even born! We've loved seeing how he grows with each session & this time around was no exception:

I have a new guilty pleasure- in the form of an amazing online weekly show dedicated to photographers- [FRAMED]  

Their giveaway this week will be selected from photographers who share a photo they took, that they believe tells a story. When I told Sam about the contest, we both thought of this as the photo to enter. So here you go! The only back story I'm going to give is that this was shot at my first wedding, and within an hour of starting shooting, and it remains, to this day, one of the most precious images I've captured. ~Naomi

Baby Adilyn- 5 days new! (Warsaw, IN Newborn Photographer)

Samuel & I have been so blessed with being able to meet wonderful families, and their delightful new additions! I can only hope the work keeps coming, as I am having a blast! I'd love to present little Adilyn to you- She is just as beautiful as her name! ~Naomi

The Dress!

I'm going to give a little advice to brides-to-be here. Let your photographer spend some time with your dress & shoes.

You've spent time & money finding that perfect dress, and those adorable shoes to go with it- now let us capture some photos of them before they are put to good use! Once you wear that dress, no matter how careful you are, there is usually a little wear & tear that comes from the wedding day. Give your photographer a chance to capture those tiny, beautiful details!! You won't regret it!

And a professional photographer is going to understand what you went through to find The Dress, and how important it is to you, and we will take the utmost care that it is in perfect condition when it is returned to you! Promise!! ~Naomi

PS~ Something to think about, but if you aren't willing to trust your photographer with your dress, can you trust them with your photos?
